Airport Parking
Bright Skies offers a wide range of airport parking services at all major UK airports, with different types of parking services available (depending on which airport you are using):
Off-Airport Parking
This is the perfect solution for budget-conscious travellers, as most off-airport car parks are very affordable. Most offer the extra convenience of valet parking, so you can head straight to the terminal without having to locate a parking space yourself.
- Located near the airport complex.
- Most airports have several off-airport car parks to choose from.
- Good value for money.
- Most offer valet parking; leave your car and keys at the reception and you will be transferred to the airport terminal by bus or coach. Meanwhile your car will be safely parked for.
- Some are self-park. Park your own car and take your keys with you. Transfer services are still available.
On-Airport Parking
For people who want the convenience of parking just a quick hop away from the airport terminal, on-airport parking is ideal.
- Located within or adjacent to the airport complex.
- Park your own car.
- Where required, transfers from these car parks to the airport terminal run from bus stops dotted around the car park.
Meet & Greet Parking
If you are particularly time-conscious when it comes to catching your flight, or have a lot of heavy luggage, Meet & Greet is the ultimate convenience: step out of your car, check in, and let your holiday begin!
- When you arrive at the airport terminal a representative will meet you and transfer your car to a nearby secure compound while you check-in.
- On your return a driver will meet you outside the airport terminal again, this time with your car ready to go.
Many of the car parks we use hold the ‘Park Mark’ Safer Parking Award. Specially trained police officers inspect the car parks on a number of security criteria and award the Park Mark if all are met. The award is part of the Safer Parking Scheme and is managed by the Association of Chief Police Officers.
How can airport parking be green?
Public transport is eco-friendly, but of course it isn’t always an option. You may not have easy access to a train station or bus stop that can take you to the airport. Or you may have a family, and too much luggage to contemplate lugging miles on foot.
Alternatives to airport parking include taxis and lifts from friends or relatives. But this requires someone to drive to the airport and back twice – two round trips instead of one. So airport parking is the greener choice!
